General technical features

The internal framework is constructed of uprights, rails and transoms using the same galvanized steel section, designed for clipping on the panel joint cover strips. The framework assembly is accomplished using special snap-fixing plates that can be used to compensate for any unevenness between the floor and ceiling. External infills are formed of double 12mm thick melamine faced panels, fitted to the elevations using extruded aluminium cover strips, giving a wall thickness of 80mm. Frames for glazed panels and doors are in rounded section extruded aluminium, powder coated or anodized. Glazing is in laminated glass, 3+3mm thick.

The blank panels are filled with 50mm thick, low bio-resistance, water-repellent glass wool, treated with thermosetting resin. The glass wool is incombustible, asbestos free, does not produce toxic gases in the event of fire and is faced on both sides with poly coated KRAFT paper (density 40kg / m3).

The doors can be provided solid or glazed and double or single leaf. These are flush doors, 40mm thick, faced in plastic laminate. The clear opening size is 890mm wide x 2,110mm high. The frames are made of painted or natural aluminium. They are fitted with HEWI hinges and push and open door knobs. The internal framework of the partition allows cables to be run both horizontally and vertically and switches and sockets can also be incorporated.
Access to services is possible simply by removing the demountable panels.
